On June 23, hundreds of us at Harborview Medical Center — representing our coworkers from nursing, respiratory therapy, social work, radiology, pharmacy, APPs, speech, and dietitians — delivered the 500+ short-staffing forms filled out since January alone to Rick Goss, Harborview’s medical director.
We gave impactful statements on how the matrices are not being met, about the mass exodus of workers, and how it feels to come home after working so hard and feeling like only the bare minimum of care was delivered.
